Miracle Mile Community

This weekend through next Friday I’m going to take some pictures around the miracle mile area outlining the transformation and things that are coming.

Snapped these photos of this new apartment complex that wraps around Wilshire blvd and La Brea avenue.

Mid-city, Miracle Mile the hub, the merging of the middle and upperclass community. ( the grove actually changed everything..more about that subject in my next post.)

So many names, I can honestly say this area has always been lovely. (16 years living in this area and experiencing the transformation has been interesting.)

What will happen once the train station arrives? I’m expecting new business and some mom and pop stores will all but disappear.

Well I will share more over the next few days. Some interviews, comments and photos from residents and my dear neighborhood.

I’m standing out front admiring this Trojan horse they are building.

While preparing for things to come.:)

Monday Sunshine!!!

Wow! I haven’t posted on my blog for some while now. I miss having the additional time and passion to write about my day to day experiences. I’m taking care of my son full-time while my wife is away taking care of her Mom. We all reach the age that we become caregivers for our parents. Seems just yesterday we actually just started our 30′s and now we are in our 40′s and many roles have actually shifted. Just watching your parents age is interesting in so many ways. I find myself constantly watching my Dad’s hairline and wondering???

How much time I will have left with my own hair?? Lol!!!!

Wow!!!

I have a full head of hair and just started noticing some gray hairs!

As for my blog…well I’m back and will try and post at least once a week.

Bizarre weather but still very lovely.
The weekend is fast approaching and I’m thinking hard on what to do this weekend.

Maybe the family and I will make the trip up to Big Bear and throw some snowballs. But then again…look at this photo below that I snapped of the Santa Monica Beach.

I just may hit the boardwalk and do some bike riding instead with the family.

Tough choice.
Should know by tonight.

Hereafter my heart cries love but dies. Dreaming for sound, beating and weeping sound creeping. Floors whispering while sound remains firm at my ears. Doors remained closed so it appears. Homecoming brings pain and joy hear after my heart cries love but dies.

I’m nothing more but space with things not changed. I’m bold as corrosion on the chain that holds my door when swayed. Chipping at this opening and wanting nothing but something. Homecoming brings pain and joy hereafter my heart cries love but dies within me.

I’m loveless and shameless from frames that hold this perfect picture steady.

What will become of this?
Will I be missed?
Will this pain hold me or turn me into something stronger?

Truth is pain and laugher has brought rain on me this day.
